Privacy Policy

This policy explains what NailBrief collects, why we use it, and the choices available to clients and nail artists.

1. Information we collect

We may collect account details such as your name, email address and account role; nail references, hand photos, annotations, finger assignments, artist replies and approved versions that you choose to upload or create; subscription and transaction status supplied by our payment provider; and limited technical information such as device type, IP address, browser, security events and product usage.

Do not upload government IDs, card details, medical records or other information that is not needed to prepare a nail design brief.

2. How we use information

We use information to create and share nail briefs, enable client–artist collaboration, maintain version and approval records, provide subscriptions, secure the service, respond to support requests, understand product performance and comply with legal obligations.

3. Hand photos and design content

Hand photos and private briefs are not public by default. A finished case or public sharing page requires a separate sharing action. You should have permission before uploading another person’s image. NailBrief does not use hand images to identify you and does not sell uploaded images.

We do not use private hand photos or briefs to train general-purpose AI models unless we first obtain a separate, explicit permission.

4. AI processing

When you request an AI-assisted design, the content needed for that request may be sent to a contracted model provider. We limit this transfer to what is needed to provide the feature. AI output may be inaccurate and must be reviewed by the client and nail artist before approval.

5. Payments

Subscription checkout and recurring payments are processed by Waffo and its payment partners. NailBrief does not store full card numbers or security codes. We receive identifiers and status information needed to reconcile subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds and disputes.

6. Sharing and service providers

We may share limited information with hosting, storage, analytics, email, security, AI and payment providers that help operate NailBrief. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain account, subscription and transaction records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting duties. Private images and briefs are kept only while needed for the collaboration or until you delete them, subject to short backup and security retention periods. Public cases remain available until removed by the account owner or NailBrief.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls, encrypted transport and restricted payment handling. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you believe an account or shared brief has been accessed without permission.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or export personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw a public case, delete content, or close your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Children and international use

NailBrief is not directed to children under 13. If local law requires a higher age for online consent, users below that age must use the service only with a parent or guardian. Information may be processed in countries other than where you live, with safeguards required by applicable law.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email. Privacy and deletion questions can be sent to support@nailbrief.com.
